Tough, tough, tough way to open the MAC season. Ball State swept BG to put us in an 0-3 hole in the MAC and the Falcons scored just 3 measly runs all weekend, and just 1 run in the first two games combined. Ugh. You could combine our run total from the entire weekend and it wouldn't have been enough to win any of the trio of games this weekend. BG is also on a 7-game losing streak but these three were the ones that hurt. Gotta start scoring some runs.

The weather was semi-decent for a mid-March home series. Is that better?? I guess could have just said Ball State kicked our ass this weekend. Short, sweet & simple.
