Brooke to throw at 5:30 today!!!!

24 athletes vying for the national title in the hammer throw. 2 flights of 12 each and Brooke is in the 2nd flight. Top 9 advance to the finals immediately after the flights! One of the ESPN channels will broadcast starting at 4:30 EST with the 1st flight. NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP!!

Brooke made it to the final 9 but in 3rd place. She has some tough competition including last years National Champion currently in 2nd place.
3 more throws to improve her distance.

Brooke finishes 3rd place. Just under 220 feet.
Her great collegiate career comes to an end.
Maybe we will see her in the Olympics in a few years.
