This is AWESOME news. Coach Nichols has done a GREAT job bringing back the soccer program and this could be the year we knock Akron outta the top spot in the MAC. 11/7, season finale at Akron. BiG non conference matches this year include Michigan State, Syracuse and osu. Coach's contract now runs through 2019.

Great points Freak. Coach Nichols has revitalized that program and clearly sees no reason to leave given what a great place BG is to raise a family.
Hopefully the women's soccer program can follow the path of the men's in time. Kingston hired two young, well-regarded assistants in softball and swimming this summer and his fingerprints can now be seen across most of the Olympic sports.
