This weekend I went home to visit a few friends and it just so happened that the men's soccer team was at Akron that night. I went to the game, but it was honestly disappointing - beyond the score. I didn't expect us to win, but the way that some of our players conducted themselves was a let down. From cheap shots to post-game brawls, I wondered what went wrong this season after the programs started off so promisingly with a 6-1-1 record and national ranking; they would eventually end with a 9-9-1 record. Hopefully next year will be better, especially after what transpired in 2015.
