BG runs its record in the MAC to 4-0 with a solid 7-3 win over Ohio University, in Athens on Friday, in the first of 3 games scheduled for this weekend.

Game 2 will be a 3 p.m. start.

Great start for the baseball Falcons!

Falcons dropped the last two games of the series by lopsided scores. Pitching depth seems to be the bigger concern -- as it has been since the start of the season. Getting enough quality innings from the starters to give themselves a shot at winning is the issue right now. I'm hoping they can turn things back around...but the MAC has some very strong teams this year in Ball State, Miami and Central Michigan. BG needs to win against the others to give themselves a shot . Cellar dwellar EMU is up next -- away. But they are 3-0 at home so far.
