Congrats to the volleyball team on picking up their fourth win tonight against Western Michigan. Good start to an Abby Normal season.

Volleyball has now moved to 5-0 with a 3-0 sweep over Miami last night. We'll see them again tonight at 5:00pm inside the Stroh Center. Hoping for more of the same!

BG battled back from down 2-0 tonight to win the match with Miami in 5 sets and move to 6-0 on the year.

7-0 now after a sweep of BSU. The victory is also their fifth sweep of the season. Both teams will face off again tomorrow at 5pm. I’m hoping to catch some of the game since it’s on ESPN+. Looks like it is their best start to the season since 2012.

And now 8-0, after another sweep. This team is fantastic.

They did great again to get another sweep. Pulled away during the first set, absolutely dominated the competition during the second set, and fended off BSU during the last set.

9-0!! They didn’t sweep the opponent this time, but they did win in four sets. They take on Ohio again tomorrow at 6:00pm.

BG VB blew a 2-0 set lead, but they won the 5th against 2nd place Kent State to remain perfect at 10-0. They’re now 2 games up on everyone in the MAC.

I have an awful tendency to be a hex on BG hockey and basketball and really any BG program hence why I'm so quiet on everything but football. So I'll say this cautiously- this volleyball team is so damned good. I can't think the last time any BG team in any sport had such a good run. Maybe women's basketball in 2005 - 2007? Volleyball is basically half way to an undefeated season. Utterly remarkable.

I better not hex anything.

Who’s left? 2 with 7-5 CMU, 2 with 4-5 EMU, 2 with 2-6 Toledo, 2 with 3-9 Akron, and 2 with 1-11 Buffalo.

We should cruise to a MAC regular season title, if we keep it up.

The games against Kent we’re definitely the biggest remaining challenge of the regular season. Tomic has the team primed for success. Next two games have early start times, which are 4pm on Thursday and 12pm on Friday.
