Men 's Cross Country needs a new coach

I am a member of the men's cross country team and believe there is a need for a change at the coaching position. Cami Wells is focused on the girl's team and not the guy's. There needs to be a coach that brings discipline and a hard working attitude. Not a coach that lets her team settle for last. I am one of the only members of the team left from when there was a track program and it is noticably a different atmosphere since Sterling MArtin left the program. Just like the football team needed a coach to turn the program around, so does the men's cross country team.

If you feel that strongly, you need to voice your concerns to Paul Krebs, BGSU Athletic Director.

Wrong wrong wrong

You are just upset because you were plagued by injuries your last few years on the team. Cami Wells is doing the BEST SHE CAN with what she is given...she isnt given enough money or assistance in her job as the MENS AND WOMEN'S coach for cross country---maybe they should hire an assistant coach who actually GETS PAID to help her out....she doesn't have the scholarship money she probably woould like---and ncaa rules forces her to comply by those limited scholorships...I think the men's team can just go anywhere now...they're going in the right direction...they're young and talented!

I would imagine it would be damn near impossible to recruit cross country runners to a school that no longer has varsity track, those two usually going hand in hand. I wouldn't imagine a great cross-country runner being content with participating on a club team in the spring.

Why doesn't BG have a coach for each team? (Men's and Women's)
