Falcons lose the opener, 1-0 to Tennessee Tech. Great pitching performance by Schenk and Krouse, giving up just 5 hits in the 9 inning game
Falcon had twice as many K’s as hits, 10-5.

Junior Rigo Ramos and Freshman DJ Newman are both from my high school (Archbold), so I will be following the team pretty closely this year and rooting hard for those guys. They were coached by Falcon baseball and basketball alumnus Dick Selgo ('74, I believe) in high school.

BG's series against #16 Louisville is on ESPN+ this weekend. Currently hanging tough against them, down 1-0 after 5. Gage Schenk has been stellar. Through five innings on 59 pitches, one hit (a homer), and has retired 13 straight. Also, big fan of the jerseys they're wearing.

And just like that, they've tied it up at 1 in the 6th!

Hard fought loss 2-1 yesterday to nationally ranked Louisville. So far, BG has been playing good ball this season.

Falcons open MAC play with a 5-4 win over OU. Fallon with two HR’s and Schenk and Penrod with a great pitching performance.

Down 11-3 in the 5th today so far....ouch.
