Baseball wins 3rd straight...2-0 at Steller Field.

BG hammers YSU today, 18-6. Down 6-2 after 3 innings and then scored 16 unanswered runs.
On Tuesday, BG beat Purdue-Ft Wayne, 8-6.
Good to see the team bounce back from a tough start and get some dubs.
BG now 6-12 and 2-4 MAC....hosting Miami this weekend for 3 games. GO FALCONS!!

BG takes game 1 against Miami, 5-2! 4 straight wins, now 7-12 and 3-4 MAC. Keep it going, fellas....

MiAudi takes game 3, 6-2. But a very good week for the team and they are coming together nicely.

And the Falcons beat Purdue-FW yesterday 7-4! BiG 3 game series at CMU this weekend.

The Falcons open their weekend series at CMU with a 12-3 victory. Kyle Gurney has a big day at the plate going 3/4 with 4 RBIs Schenk gets the win as BG moves to 5-5 in the conference as we head into April. Game 2 is Saturday at 11 a.m. (in what will probably be very windy conditions) with Game 3 on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Coming from behind with two runs in the 9th inning, the Falcons take a second straight win from CMU on the road by a 3-2 score. Nic Good gets the win with 3 innings of no-hit ball and 3 strikeouts.
The Falcons are now 6-5 in MAC play and these two teams will play the series finale tomorrow at 2 p.m.

A late comeback in Game 3 against CMU falls short, but the Falcons took the weekend series 2-1. If you do that consistently on the road and defend your home field, you'll probably be MAC champions.
Wednesday, the Falcons go to Michigan State. That should be an interesting barometer -- as will a midweek game with Ohio State in a week or so.

I'm heading down to Cbus next week. First pitch is 6pm. Tough series over the weekend coming up with Kent State as well. Should really test us to see where we are now.
