2023 VB MAC Tourney

BG takes on Ball State tomorrow night in the quarterfinals. BSU is the 3-seed, but BG finished the last month 10-1 and has been sweeping most of those matches. Should be a really competitive game. I think it's very possible BG makes a run to the final with the way they've gotten things together.

I was thinking the same. They’ve looked pretty good recently after having some struggles, quite a few 3-0 wins.

Phew!! BG wins 3-2 to advance to the next round against Buffalo. Almost swept 3-0 but credit to Ball St for rallying and making it go right to the line.

If we beat Buffalo tonight, we will play WMU for the title tomorrow night.

Congrats to the team on a 3-0 sweep of Buffalo!! Definitely will be a challenge tomorrow night as they try to defend their title. And such an awesome accomplishment that it’s the 4th time in the last 5 years that they’ll be playing in the title game.

They will actually be playing in the title game for the 5th time in 5 seasons. 2020 didn’t have a fall season, but they played in the spring of 2021. And then they played a normal season in the fall of 2021, as well.

2019, 2021 (spring), 2021 (fall), 2022, and now 2023. Pretty darn impressive program.

Down 2-0 to a really, really good WMU team. They’ve played well enough to keep up but have made a ton of unforced errors.

WMU might be pulling away but it's been close in the 5th. Impressive improvement throughout the season.

Damn....we ran out of gas in set 5 and WMU wins the MAC title, 3-2. Falcon proud of our program and we WILL be back next year.

Great effort from the team to force a 5th set, completely agreed that it would have been another championship if Petra was healthy.
