W/o a power pitcher softball is tough to win. Gotschall is 11-3 for Tennessee with 65.2 innings and 88 SO after xferring a couple years ago. Looks only one 'bad' outing IMO. Edit, she is 10-2 this year so far and 16-2 last year. Imagine what a difference she would have made for us.

BG down 8 in the 3rd today.

We lost the first game of the DH, 7-4. Down 9-0 in the 4th of game two...gonna get swept at home. We need a change in leadership. 9-41 last year and now 2-19 this year. that ain't working...the amount errors and mistakes is bad.

We lost game 2 12-0. Swept at home by the hated scuds. No hits but 4 errors. She simply isn't qualified to coach at this level. She was only an assistant coach on HS teams!

Let’s win some ballgames.

It's not often when you have a team this bad that you will face another team that is worse. However, this weekend UDM softball is playing BG in a DH. Between the 2 teams they have a record of 3-38 but BG does outperform the Titans in all categories over the season. BG is hitting slightly over the Mendoza line at .207 vs sub Mendoza UDM .188. BG scores a average of 2.85 runs a game to UDM's 1.29. Both teams pitching stats are atrocious but BG is better. ERA 6.28 to UDM 8.24 and WHIP at 2.43 to 2.72. Game prediction --Bad Hitting vs Bad Hitting, BG should win both but if they lose its another strike against the current coach who has already whiffed over the past one + seasons.

Did beat a one win UDM team twice in one close game and a blowout. But today faced first place Miami in a home DH and were outscored 19-0 in total and were no hit in the first game and only had one single in the second. Meanwhile Miami launched 5 HRs in the two games.

Maybe some more cash for softball, among other sports, would help.

Oh wait, all of the extra cash the department can scrounge up and more has to cover football's overspending.
