Just curious, because I never see any discussion here.
That team is freaking GOOD. IF you have any interest in the sport at all, and haven't been out to Cochrane, you should do so. Last night they got rained out and pushed into the dome up in Rossford, but they completely dismantled an overmatched EIU team.
I know they're not hurting for fans. The stands at Cochrane are pretty full every game. They do an unreal good job in the community, the program that Nichols has with community kids/soccer players is just phenomenal. We haven't missed a game yet (including last night) and my son/his friends all love it.
ANyhow, they're ranked in the top 25. Get out to Cochrane and catch a game.
Anybody else here watch the Soccer team?

Back in the day I went to the game but follow along now by seeing score updates on bgsufalcons. I'm really impressed how well they've held the program together through the conference instability. Right now it looks like they would have a decent seed in the ncaa tournament

Which soccer team...there's at least two
It's not the fall that hurts...it's when you hit the ground.

Flip, I meant the men's team, but you're right. We haven't made it out for a women's game yet.

I follow them and watch matches on ESPN+. They are sooooo solid. Ranked in the Top 25 and 8-1-1. The lone loss was at Michigan. Coach Nichols has built a great program. Next match is Sat at UIC. RULE THE PITCH!
