Fundraiser for former BG rugby player

Post by BGFalcons232 »

Roan Gouws, a Bowling Green State University student, who came to the country from his native South Africa, was tragically murdered this past January 22. Roan had no medical insurance, and his family is struggling to cope with the financial burden of this tragedy.

To help offset this burden, BGSU student and friend of Roan, Tom Forbrizzio, is attempting to break the Guinness World Record for the 'World's Fittest Man' by completing the 24-Hour Challenge on April 15-16 at the Bowling Green State University Recreation Center. This record is made up of doing the greatest cumulative distances/totals completed in a designated series of sporting activities over a 24 hour period.

A few of the feats that Tom will try to complete are:
- 100 miles biking
- 10 miles running
- 3,000 sit-ups
- 280,000 lbs. cumulative weightlifting...many more

Please assist Roan's family and help preserve his memory by making your financial contribution. Thank you!

Contributions can be sent to:
