BG's winning streak snapped at Wright State...

Post by Falconfreak90 »

Raiders beat the Falcons, 13-8 in Dayton yesterday. WSU jumped out to an 8-0 lead after 3 innings and it was over. Adam Grumpf lasted less than 2 innings and took the loss (3-1). Josh Stewart hit his 4th HR of the year. Jimmy Lipari hit his first HR of the year, a 3 run shot in the 5th inning and BG closed to 9-5. But WSU then scored 4 more runs in the bottom of the 6th.

BG's 6 game winning streak is done...time to start another one.

BG is now 18-7 and hosts Buffalo in a 3 game MAC series this weekend.

Yeah, this game in over with and we need to just forget about it and get ready for a much more important series this weekend with Buffalo. Mid-week games in college baseball are like rolling dice, you really aren't sure what you're going to get with mid-week arms on the mound. I do like that our offense was at least live at Wright State. GO BG!!!

Right, 33. The MAC games are the ones that count. It sucks to lose but our pitching got shellacked.

BEAT BUFFALO!!
