BG rally falls short at NIU...

Falcons don't get the sweep losing to NIU 6-5 today. BG now 22-10, 7-5 MAC with midweek games against IPFW on the road Tuesday and Dayton at home Wed. Falcons then host Kent State for 3 games next weekend.

Although a sweep would have been nice, at least we won the series, which is the next best thing. Let's get a couple Ws in the mid-week and get another series win over Kent State next weekend. GO BG!!!

Wins against Kent State have been hard to come by over the years. Factman would know for sure, but last season, I think we won our first series over Kent....first time in 15 years?? They lead the all time series like 90-58 or so.
