BG baseball has UT & WMU remaining in the MAC

BG is just 8-7 in the MAC and has two HUGE series remaining - a home series vs. Toledo and a road series at WMU. If the MAC Tournament were to start today, I think BG would get in as the last seed (#6). But teams like Ohio are right on our heels. We've got to play well and get these next couple MAC series. I think if we can at least win both series by going 2-1, we should be in decent shape. But let's just get started with a three-game sweep over Toledo to help our cause! GO BG!!!

Thanks for pointing that out 'Freak....I was going off the top of my head before the standings were posted and thought we were higher. Well, if we're seventh then, that even puts more pressure on us. Bottom line is, we've just got to win these next two series. We can control our destiny for the most part, but if we keep dropping games here and there, we could end up sitting at home again which would be a big shame considering the start we had to this season and the upperclassman we have will lose after this year. After looking as who plays who etc, if we go 4-2 , we can be pretty sure we are IN! My feelings are that Miami, Akron, Ball State, CMU, WMU and BG are in if we go 4-2. It is possible we could even go 3-3 and make it, but we would have to hope that neither KSU or OU go 10-9. and beating us out at 11-10. The KSU-WMU series this weekend is HUGE!!
