Burke Badenhop select by Tigers in 19th round!

Second falcon to be drafted. Congrats Burke and good call NY-BG-Fan. You'll be seeing him the NY Penn league also.

Thanks....yeah I figured he would go later on in the day, but it's a real testament to how well Burke pitched down the stretch in MAC play that put him relatively early to the 19th round. And yes, he may be in the NY-Penn League as well with the Tigers affiliate in Oneonta, NY, right near Cooperstown.

Badenhop will play this summer with the Oneonta Tigers of the New York-Penn League.

Burke threw 5 no hit innings tonight, striking out 3 and walking 1. So far he has pitched 8 innings, allowing only 3 hits.

His ERA is up to 5.06 for the year. Still early.

Burke (2-1, 4.09) rebounded nicely and got the win yesterday. He allowed just one run on four hits in six innings. He walked three and struck out four .
