Men's Soccer team defeats Michigan 2-0 in exhibition

Post by kdog27 »

If anybody cares... Hopefully this is a sign of better things to come, and a victory. Don't know much about soccer exhibitions but beating Michigan in anything is fine with me. They were ranked 23rd last year FWIW.

I was there for Belfort's goal at the end. The team looked pretty solid compared to last year. Showed a lot more hustle. I don't know how good Michigan is supposed to be, but we were out running them to balls everywhere! Go Falcons!

Hey that was great to see! After 0-19 last year? Too bad this doesn't count for the record. :(

But a definite boost in confidence. BG opens this Saturday vs Sacred Heart and Sunday vs Eastern Illinois in Green Bay. Get a win and see where it goes from there.

BTW, how many people were there?

GO BG!~
