Falcons fall 5-0 to Musketeers in Cincinnati. BG now 0-4-1 and will travel to Baltimore to face UMBC Sunday.

This is getting so very old. To think BG was actually a ranked team several years ago is mind boggling to me now. Now, we haven't won a regulation game since what, 2003? When on when will we win just one......"1".....single game?

33,

Hard to believe, no? BGSU used to be a power in soccer.

In all fairness, the team is extremely young with only 6 or 7 upperclassmen on the whole roster. I believe the majority of players are freshmen.

They do need to win A game....the sooner the better.

Yeah, it is getting hard to believe. I agree, they are young. But aside from getting tired of seeing all the losses, I mostly feel bad for these guys already. Soccer is sort of a quirky game to begin with, but after last season and now the way this year is going, if they get a win, it might feel like they won a national championship. But it's still hard to believe, we aren't talking about MAC titles or NCAA Tournament appearances anymore with men's soccer.....we're talking about getting just one win a season. That is a shame no matter how you look at it.

Mike,
I've had similar thoughts re: being "young", but the bottom line is that, since the coaching change, BG hasn't won a game! Could there have been an error in judgement in replacing former coach? Or could it be an error in hiring the current coach? Either way, it's pretty pathetic to see what's happened.
