The incoming freshmen have been alot of fun to watch, and some will be making a big impact this spring. Ryan Shea has been outstanding at SS, Kevin Leady and Marty Baird have both been very good as both position players (CF and 3B respectively) and pitchers, Brandon McFarland has looked good with a bat in his hands and Sammy Campitella has looked good on the mound, and Chris Gacom had a very good outing on the mound yesterday. Other newcomers that have looked good are Dusty Hawk (P), Jeff Telmanik has hit well and a couple of walkons have been suprises as well. This is a very large and talented group of freshmen.
