Soccer loses heartbreaker to WMU...

3-2 and fall to 2-9-1, 0-2 MAC.

Now, BG heads to Buffalo, who was ranked #22 before their loss to Akron. Then Sunday, BG travels to my neck of the woods with a game at Akron. The Zips are the NUMBER TWO team in the nation. #2!!!!!

Tough, tough weekend coming up...

Well depending on what poll you look at, the Zips are now #1 in the nation after New Mexico tied Air Force. Akron is ranked #1 in the country in the College Soccer News poll and the Soccer America poll. The reason I mention this is becasue it is the first team in any sport in the history of the MAC to be so honored with the #1 spot in a poll according to the Plain Dealer. Kudos to you Akron.

Just saw that in the Akron and Cleveland papers, UK. Indeed, #1 in two of the four polls.

Congrats to the Zips! I would like to go to the game Sunday. All depends on how late we get back from Buffalo Sat night and how much we have to do that day after church.
