Does anyone know if BG is in this game. On the E.A. Sports website they memntion that the game include top universities and conferences in the country. I know MAC baseball isn't the best conference for this sport, but would anyone know if we are in this game?

Darn. I thought that was kinda cool , a college baseball video game. I wonder how well that game will sell though. Are there that many college baseball fans out there? It definitly won't be doing as well as the MLB versions for sure.

2K Sports has bought the exclusive rights to the MLB franchise. This is EA's replacement for that.
In my opinion, 2K gives you something EA never will: your money's worth.

I'm not a big "must get the new one every year" type of video game user, but I was pretty disappointed with EA Sports NHL game this year. Gameplay is pretty solid, but some key options are lacking. I never thought I'd miss having user profiles, but they're not there and I miss 'em. Also, every other game I've known has some kind of "practice mode". Again, never used it, but with some tricky button combinations to pull off basic moves, I'd have liked to see that.

EA has gone way downhill over the past few years. I bought NBA 2K6 when I got my xbox360 and the gameplay is ten times better than Live. I'll be checking out the 2k version of baseball this year also, although I did enjoy EA's MVP 2005 game.
As far as college football goes (obviously the most important), they haven't really improved upon the game since 2004. As far as pro fball goes, Madden is all we have for the next 6-7 years so hopefully they do a better job with the next iteration.
I have always been an EA guy, but they're very close to losing my business along with many others'.

i heard that the game stops working after about halfway games into the season, and then you can't use it again until about 20 games into the following season. is that true?

Ouch. Although despite skipping an entire season, the two "bookend" seasons were complete. Baseball never even gets that part of it right!
