paying such close attention to grammar on a sports message board is lame.

What is even more lame, or maybe sad is the better word, is that it is the only thing you have on me. I dont pay attention to my typos. So what. I am not getting graded for it, I am not getting paid for it so who cares?

no, that is the way OSU played. they played all their games close. you don't win 23 games or so in close fashion like they did for a couple of years and be lucky. they played down to the level of their oponents. they were known for it.

BG is known for blowing people out when they are any good, buffalo is bad BG barely beat them two years in a row. thats sad

OK, so I can see where we barely beat them in '06. But how does a 20 point victory over UB in '05 count as "barely"?

I'm sorry, but this has to be the worst excuse I've ever seen. They played DOWN to their opponents? They barely won half of those games on last minute field goals. That's not playing down, that's messing up. Call it whatever you want, but OSU has come out with closer-than-narrow victories in games that should have been cakewalks in recent years, and to me, that spells nothing more than overlooking the opponent.
Want to argue that BG did that with Buffalo? Feel free, I'd be willing to argue the same thing, but that's not the point here, and it's a weak distraction instead of a counter-argument.
