I agree that Rutgers is goings balls out. This is theur big chance to break through. The Kentucky in me still says Louisville wins this one. I don't think Rutgers can stop them. It should be another good night of Thursday football.Jacobs4Heisman wrote:Lousiville is going to lose agasint Rutgers. Rutgers won't fumble the game away at home. Their program will be so pumped for this game, they are going to play with their hair on fire the whole game.
Rutgers by double digits.

Outta curiosity what's the payout? Gotta be big.
Also outta curiosity, what site are you betting on that still takes American Wagers?
What a good night for me. I played a little blackjack after work and ended up 300.
I risked that 300 (of house money) to win 3,862. I love it when a truly sweet parlay hits.
Oh -- and I'm playing at Bodog.

Rutgers shut them down in the second half. Impressive actually.
Thanks -- I've liked Rutgers all year. When you run the ball and play good defense, you always have a chance. Now, as soon as WVU smokes Rutgers later this year, my 3 game Big East round table prediction will be complete.
Hammb -- still want Brohm in Cleveland? I don't think Quinn (Tim Couch jr.) or Brohm make a difference in the NFL. I hate them both as top-10 picks.

Not really. I hate to use one game as a measuring stick, but yesterday's game went a long way to making me believe he doesn't have it. Mainly NFL QBs are pressured, and Brohm did NOT respond to pressure well at all. I had not seen him play this year until last week. I was high on him coming into the year, because he had always played well when I was watching. Then last week he has the big night in the spotlight again. Last night, however, he really wilted under the pressure that Rutgers was bringing. If you cannot play under pressure you are not going to make it in Cleveland. After tonights game and the injury I think Brohm might be best served to take another year in Louisville.Hammb -- still want Brohm in Cleveland? I still like Quinn a LOT more than you do though. I don't really see the Tim Couch comparison because I think Quinn's got a pretty good arm (much better than Couch), and he's also playing in a VERY structured, pro-style system (Couch, conversely never had a playbook at Kentucky). To me the two biggest knocks on Couch were his arm strength and whether he could pick up an NFL playbook, both of which I think Quinn grades better than Couch did.
My Browns draft board is as follows:
1. Adrian Peterson, hands down superstar
2. Joe Thomas S-T-U-D
3. Brady Quinn
4. Calvin Johnson (not a need, but I'm not sure you can pass on him if he's there and the above 3 are not).
5. Alan Branch -- Some much needed beef for the DL, could play nose by his second year.

The Tim Couch Jr reference is based on what I think will happen to him if he goes to Cleveland. Mile-high expectations, but no OL to get the job done. He would have much better weapons than Couch did though, Assuming Winslow is still a free man and Edwards' arms don't fall off in the next couple years.
AP and Thomas are 1-2 on my board as well. I'm not sure Branch is coming out though. He'll be a fantastic 4-3 DT in the league, and a surefire top-10 pick, but the inside scoop out of AA is that he wants to stay another year.
