What a tear-jerking disappointment that turned out to be. LSU 48, VT 7. Apparently Hurricane Katrina trumps a campus massacre. Who knew? Thanks ESPN!

ESPN loves misery. It gives them something to exploit from Sunday to Friday and fill air time with. We're three weeks into the season, and already we've had three Misery Bowls (well, will have had, on Saturday).

Good point, Nathan. Hard to believe how badly these two are playing these days. Not that I mind...it would be perfect if OSWho gets whacked at WA as well.
