Congratulations to Indiana for becoming bowl eligible. Former Coach Hoepner made the phrase "Let's play 13" his slogan with his IU teams and unfortunately he was not able to see the team realize his goal.

Congratulations Coach. They did it.

I normally root against IU, but for Coach Hoepner's memory it is good to see. Plus Bill Lynch used to be the head coach at Ball State. We will see if IU takes off the interim tag.

They haven't locked up a bowl game just yet. Sure they're bowl eligible, but at 6-6 there's no guarantees. Especially since the Big Ten has a chance at getting 10 bowl eligible teams and the SEC has a chance to get 11. There's going to be some teams that are eligible getting left home. Indiana needs to get one more win just to be safe.
