Last year doesn't mean a damn thing to this year. The Fighting Zookers are going to be a contender for years to come. Now, what happens when OSU loses two in a row to the scUM?tekekini wrote:beat them last year, the last time I checked.
I guess that doesnt count

doesnt mean anything for this year, no. but he said they can't even beat someone who USED to coach at Florida. Zook was the Illinois coach last year, OSU beat Illinois last year. Clearly they can beat someone who used to coach at Florida.
That's all I am saying. His joke was based off of nothing that is true. No fact behind it.
Good day.
OSU will beat UM by 20 + points. scUM is horrible. They do not run any offense with any suprises. They are what they are.

This probably the only remotely logical thing you posted since your inception on this board. Michigan is simply not getting the best speed players out there. Although I highly doubt UM will get beat by 20.tekekini wrote:OSU will beat UM by 20 + points. scUM is horrible. They do not run any offense with any suprises. They are what they are.

OK, who are you and what have you done with Tekekini? This new found maturity and your reasonable posts clearly identify you as an interloper. We're on to you so you better just return to your planet.tekekini wrote:BGDrew wrote:Last year doesn't mean a damn thing to this year. Ya know, I despise the OSU fan base but I will give credit to the Buckeyes...to win that many conference games and regular season games in a row is quite a feat. I know they don't play a tough sked this year but still. The last time they lost a BiG Ten game was 2005 at Penn State until this weekend.
That is impressive and I heard on TV they have about 19 or 20 of these starters back next year. Wow....they'll be loaded again.
Having said that, I didn't shed a tear when Illinois won the game and did it by pounding the crap outta the OSU D. THAT was even more impressive against that D.
I'll be watching Sat to see how both OSU and UM respond...and looking for the blimp.
Ummm...I won't actually be "Watching" since I will be at a much more important game in NY.

His Saturdays are open the rest of the year..unless BG and UT play on a Saturday for once??Redwingtom wrote:Amstutz will be there scouting OSU already? They hope to have that many guys back.Falconfreak90 wrote:

On defense alone Gholston, Laurinitis, and Jenkins are legit top 50 prospects for the NFL draft. I'd be mildly surprised if they kept one of them, I'd be shocked if all 3 of them returned for their senior seasons.
Boeckman isn't a prospect, so he'll stick around. Wells is too young, and they will bring back most of their OL for sure. Robiskie could potentially be a top 50 prospect as well if he chooses to go for the NFL.
Off the top of my head those 4 guys are all legit NFL guys, and they're probably ready for the draft now if they so choose. Sure they hope to return that many starters, but I doubt that they will.
Not that it matters, OSU has had the habit of replacing defensive starters consistently without much dropoff.
OSU's defense is incredibly deep. They have about 8 linebackers, 6 of them see time on the field now, as it is, the other two play special teams and have been incredibly good especially Rolle.
They have enough depth right now to get them through the next 3 years easily, even with juniors leaving.
After being so close twice, to a national title, some juniors may stay..I could see James staying. Especially since he idolizes and talks to AJ hawk every day, who stayed and turned into a # 7 pick. Who knows. I could see it though.
I don't think Robo would go. He has only been a starter for one year, I just don't see him as a first rounder and as a WR if your not a 1st rounder, you don't leave early.
Alex Boone will leave early, and Barton is gone..thats two from the 0-line but they have 2 capable back ups and the Block 0 class comming in who are all enrolling early( the three of the top five o-lineman in the country) so they can participate in spring. They will all be thrown in the two deep right away.
They may return more than you think, but not all of them. Jenkins, Gholston, and grant will be gone from the D and barton, and boone from the offense.
not too bad.
