Miles may seem to be the more obvious choice, but what about Bo Pellini? Isn't he due?
Well, they supposedly have a list of 30 candidates they are paring down, and they want to have a new coach in place before the ball drops on 2007. Miles is definitely #1 on the list, but who knows if he's seriously interested or not. He has a monster Michigan clause in his contract, and the basketball situation suggests Michigan won't pay his way out of his current contract.

I honestly have no idea who it'll be. There have been so many high-profile names floated at this point, that there's no way to tell what's real and what's grasping at straws.

I heard Curt Miller is number 2 on the list.

Gregg Brandon really turned around the Bowling Green program this season. Wonder if he made the list? :o

On a serious note, the dude on ESPN had Brian Kelly as the #3 choice right now.

I was talking to some Meeeechigan fans today at lunch and if they can't get Les Miles, they want Kelly. Wow...

If he goes to Meeeechigan, I wonder if he'll do a home and home with Miami(OH)

How about Brady Hoke? He's done wonders at Ball State, he has proven that he can be very competitive against the Big Ten, and he's a Michigan man and carries the Lloyd Carr philosophy.
