Those aren't my words Freak. I was just quoting one of YOUR former head coaches. I figure if its okay for your head football coach to call you pathetic, then why can't a fan from the rival school call you that? I guess maybe you girls aren't man enough to take a few jabs from one of your rivals.

I know, Amstutz is fat.

Spin that one bitches. :finga:
TJ,

I like you...you're a fired up dude for his team. But can you honestly say ut is better than BG right now? I mean, we've kicked your azzes upside down the last two years and it's gonna happen again this year. Your program is not on BG's level at this time. Any rational fan can see that. No BiG deal, bro. There have been times BG wasn't on ut's level. We've beaten you more than you've beaten us. We have the same amount of MAC titles. But head to head? You lose, man.

And I thought the Amstutz is fat jokes got old quickly, FWIW.

Makes a great rivalry so....toledo sucks! :-D

Face it, BG will always be Toledo's retarded little brother to the south.
Since you're a Toledoan...I'll defer to your expertise on mental retardation. Most cities work very hard to provide services for their special needs population. You folks make them mayor.

We just haven't beaten you on the field the last two years...we've destroyed you. You're right though..we aren't seen as being at your level. We're viewed as a solid mid major program with an exciting offense..a team that's more than capable of pulling the upset against a top 25 team (like Pitt)

Your program is known for point shaving....

As the city of Toledo circles the drain, we can only hope that sorry excuse for a Univeristy is pulled right into the sewer with it...

Flipper, I really got you going. huh buddy?

Yeah, BG is known nationally as a bowl record setter. January 6, 2008. GMAC Bowl, Tulsa versus BG. Result? Largest blowout in bowl history. Congratulations. Oh which end was the nationally known BG on again?

No one has yet to take on the task of explaining why Toledo can always schedule a favorable OCC matchup while BG can't schedule crap. Lol, when BG does does schedule something the MAC office ends up screwing BG over. Toledo got screwed over this year too... they got a home game with a Big 12 opponent out of the screw up.

Simple. New AD has made it clear that 2 for 1s are not the way to go. 2 for 1s are what Toledo does, that's why Iowa State and Purdue have been to UT recently. GC would rather do 1 and 1s. It's all part of getting six home games consistently, though he's had to work with a mess of contracts to get there and it will take some time. UT had that random 7 home game schedule recently, but that was just contracts all lining up at the right time for the home part of 2 for 1s. Also partly due to UT playing a 1-AA pansy pretty often - no need to schedule a return visit, but really not worth it because there's no exposure available when beating Liberty (barely), McNeese State, and Western Illinois.

The past few years have been about cleaning up contractual messes from the previous AD, who did use 2 for 1s a lot, so we've had the Boise fiasco, which GC cleaned up rather nicely considering the circumstances given, and the Pitt game in 08, which turned out nicely. Now we are doing 1 and 1s, like home and "home" against Wisconsin, home and home against Minnesota, and future home and homes with Maryland and Indiana.

Personally, I'll take the home and home option in a heartbeat over 2 for 1s. It makes the school look better, it makes us more of a force in negotiating contracts, and will lead to consistently six home games a year.

Say, how did the last game with OSU go for UT? Wasn't it like, 49-0 or so?

And let's see an update in that all time series...um, yep, 38-31-4.

TJ, how can our fan base be so pathetic as to only draw 11,000 fans for the BG/UT game? Hell, we brought 2,000. C'mon man, you can do better than that.

49??? I thought I remembered it being a lot higher than that but perhaps I got bored with that game after the first 42 points and stopped paying full attention to it?

Spin that one bitches. :finga:
So a budget crisis means the BG administration thinks UT is better then BG, thats makes perfect sense
Not to mention ut is laying off 100 people due to a deficit of $16 Million.

Does UT even have a varsity hockey program? *crickets* Bueller? Bueller? Ferris Bueller? TJ's working on taking over Tek as the most annoying poster on this forum. Next time you want to get us to go "OH SNAP! You got us good!" I wouldn't use an article about people busting their azzez for our University.

C'mon, V- TJ worse than teke? Not even close. And he's one of your own, a brother Falcon. Check out the BG trolls on our board. Goes with the territory. And to answer your question with another question- does BG even have a varsity hockey program? ;-)

You are no force in negotiating contracts. You are a force in getting screwed over when it comes scheduling. Iowa St was a 1 for 1. Same with Fresno St, Boise St and Ohio St.

BG's schedule for the past couple of years has blown... for you to say otherwise is just dishonest on your part.

2005- 5 Home games in a 11 game schedule... HOME OPENER played in freaking october!! bwahahaha!!!

2006- 4 home games on a 12 game schedule... wow, a force in negotiating to be sure!

2007- 5 home games on a 12 game schedule... I can see how youre finally starting to be that force you were talking about!

2008- same as the year before... 5 home games on a 12 game schedule.

My bad- I was counting Brianna Shook- she was second in the NCAAs but had the best time in the country. That still leaves us with two NCAA titles of which I'm aware. Foot-mouth. ;-)
