Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

On an interesting note the Dispatch posted in its sports section today...

98 out of the last 100 Georgetown players to play basketball at the school have graduated. I guess GTown's academics must be much easier than the History of Rock and Roll.

gtown hasnt been s**t since lately until last year or two. they had no choice but to graduate or transfer.

It is not OSU's fault when people leave early for whatever reason.

the players have a right to go for the money.

It is not like they are failing out, they are choosing to leave.

big deal.

What OSU basketball players prior to this year left for the money?

The obvious one is Michael Redd, for one, but you missed the point. I was talking the players in general have the right to leave for the money wether that would be OSU, FLORIDA, UNC, even BGSU..who cares they have the right and they often take it why punish the schools by tracking grad rates and then take schollies away for poor performance?

It is a F'd up deal

We should not be so hard on OSU. Obviously their graduation rate is low, but the years for freshman entering 1996-1999 was a time of change with the Ayers/O'brien eras. In a few years, studies might be saying the same thing about BGSU basketball, years 2002-2005 (for entering freshman). I would not agree to say that our university was a joke/bad institution/gravy train for athletes while they were there. We should watch what we say.
