OSU lose to UTAH???

My god dude get real.

Utah is a pretender. Wait until Bama destroys them. Yes I said DESTROYS them. I can't wait. Two years in a row that a pretender non BCS school gets killed. There will never ever be two teams to make it the same year and it will never ever even be a thought ever again.

Roll Tide![/quote]

I agree half with you. Utah will probably get destroyed by Alabama. They have the best D line in the country and one of the best O lines, and Utah just won't be able to stand up for long enough to keep fighting. However ... Utah is NOT a pretender. Ohio State would also get destroyed by Alabama and those lines, so by that logic Ohio State is a pretender, along with all of the Big 10 save possibly Penn State, all of the ACC, all of the Big East, all of the Pac 10 save USC, and most of the Big 12. I can't possibly see all of those teams being pretenders.

Couldn't agree more. Which is why I find it perplexing that you don't acknowledge Penn State's 1994 undefeated, untied Big Ten Champs. SOLE Big Ten Champs. A little defensive about OSU giving up 60+ to the Lions that yeara?

There is probably just as good of a chance of Alabama destroying Utah as there is as Texas destroying OSU.

How am I not acknowleging their 1994 title? Of course they are champs that year. I guess I should've said get one all to themselves since '94 to make it clear to you and I'm not sure why you think I give a crap that they scored 63 points against OSU that year. I just hate when people act like little crybabies over something that's always been a rule only because it involves OSU. I have no idea why they cry about it, probably just because it involves OSU just like everything else that people cry about on here. If it was Minnesota instead of OSU nobody on here would've ever posted about it or would even care.

Here's how:

"Maybe if Penn State would stop losing to average teams they'd finally get one all to themselves". Pretty clear.

OTHER people cry? LMAO! You don't think maybe...just maybe...your attitude (and fallacious user name, osukid ;-) ) have something to do with folks here slamming osu? Did you expect people on a BG board would praise a team from another school? When you take one tenth the beating on this board that UT or Miami takes then you can cry about it if you want to cry (and it appears that you do).

The proper response to my post was "Ooops. You're right. I should do my research first, huh?" rather than pretending the problem lies with my ability to clearly comprehend written English. Besides- I said I agreed with you. A shared title is a title, pure and simple.

I'm fully aware of Penn State's 1994 season, there was no mistake. It's just in the last four years they've split a title with OSU twice which is obviously what I was referring too. Next time I'll make sure to be more literal.
My attitude has nothing to do with people here slamming OSU. I've never once started a topic on OSU, the people around here do that just fine because of their inferiority complexes. It's hilarious to me they get more attention on this forum than schools that are actually our rivals and play in the same conference. I'm indifferent toward OSU in regards to BG since we aren't rivals nor competitors for recruits. I hope they do well since they're an Ohio school and I like to see Ohio schools do well, since them having success doesn't have any affect on BG. It's just more fun to play devil's advocate in regards to OSU to see the irrational, hateful drivel people spew. It's also fun because it's sure to generate a response since nobody here can resist a good OSU slam. :-)

Thank god Boise didn't make BCS bowl. They can't beat TCU...how the hell were they going to beat Texas?

OSU may lose but at least they play in a real conference.

Only you would spend part of Christmas day thinking about and making that comment here, on a BGSU board, about Boise, as an Ohio State fan.

I don't think Boise is pretending or wants to be anything other than what they are, which is a fine team with great fans.

Love Boise State and what they represent. Do you realize how difficult it is to go undefeated in a season? Boise won at Oregon. They play in the WAC and the teams on their sked. TCU...hmmm...didn't they slam an undefeated (at the time) BYU team this year? This same TCU team, finished 11-2, and is ranked ONE spot behind the mighty Buck$? Boise State will play anyone, anywhere, anytime. TCU's two losses this year were @ #2 OK and @ #8 Utah. TCU is a damn good football team and program.

Boise State got screwed over a BCS bowl because money talks...pure and simple. Put Boise State and Ohio State on a neutral field and I'll take Boise State every time. OSU barely beat a horrible Ohio team at home...Troy took OSU into the 4th quarter at the Shoe. And with the exception of OSU, Penn State and MSU, the Big Ten was a joke this year. Let's not forget that huge win over YSU. Nothing OSU did this year showed me they belong in a BCS game...let alone the title game. It was pure money talking that got them to Arizona.

OSU isn't all you think it is...and your hatred for anything non BCS shows the arrogance that makes it so easy to root for anyone playing OSU.

Don't be surprised if OSU gets humiliated in a 3rd straight BCS game...I think it will happen cuz Texas is pissed about missing out on the title game and looking for someone to take it out on...and look who they play. :-D

IF OSU gets crushed again, will you be able to come here and agree OSU is a national pretender? Probably not. Hook 'em Horns.

OSU definitley plays in a real conference. No one would deny that. I do suspect OSU will lose even more now that UT got their defensive coach-he'll be hard to replace and I think OSU will struggle with tough conference foes like Missouri, Texas, Oklahoma, etc. Yeah, you have to feel sorry for OSU playing in the Big Twelve -its not like playing in a BCS conference with perrenially awful teams like the Can't Count Conference with Indiana, Northwestern, Minnesota, etc.
