Tajh Boyd to Clemson + OSU needs a QB in this class = Boucher to OSU (Sorry Miami).

Because he won't be going to Miami or Toledo?

He won't see the field for at least 2 years. I don't know how good he is I don't know anything about him but he was the 3rd QB on OSU's radar and the first two are now gone.

That is the one bad thing about Pryor...no one wants to sit for two years behind him. So we will likely have one year of lackluster QB between Pryor and the next best thing.

Carlos Hyde, Jamall Berry and Terrel Pryor in the backfield...NICE!

DeVier Posey, Duron Carter and Lamaar Thomas should be the top 3 WR's but I am sure Sazenbacher will be #3 instead of Lamaar Thomas.

Don't put too much money on Boucher to OSU! He would really like to play with his brother.

play with brother or play for OSU?? Hmm...if that is a hard decision for him to make then OSU doesn't need him.

Somehow I think his brother is going to lose on this one.

Gee.......I guess that is the 1st time "tiki toyboy" :smt039 has ever been wrong!

 :smt042

What is OSUcks at.......about their #4-5 choice now? Maybe Nicely will end up there and sit on the bench!

Hey.....the slUTs just got a verbal from a 141 pound QB from Glenville.....they could go after him! (for tikiboy)

OSU could probably get the 141 pounder- can't find him listed anywhere. Too bad for slUTs. The University of Toledo, on the other hand, got a verbal from the 6'3", 170-180 pound starter from the Glenville team that started 10-0. Terrance Owens, the one that the Plain Dealer describes as a "game changer".

Glenville: The Tarblooders have speed at the skill positions and size and quickness on the lines. DE/LB Jonathan Newsome, OT/DT Marcus Hall, WR/DB Mike Edwards, QB Terrance Owens, WR/DB Shane Wynn and TB Mordecai Cargill are game-changers.

Of course the way we've played lately our game changers have mostly been for the worse but I feel sorry for that school that got the 140 pound guy. ;-)

Darn it.......RF must be wrong again. He is always saying that the combine #'s are the most accurate, and we shouldn't pay any attention to those 40 times, weights etc, that get posted, other than these combine times. I was just trying to do that but it must not be true!

Scroll down to his San Antonio combine times.

Can't we have a little fun with RF without you trying to help him out? ;-)

No. ;)

Actually this guy sounds good- I don't follow recruiting much but I think that Glenville has pretty good tradition. In fact I think they had another prettty good QB about 6 or 7 years ago-guy that went to OSU-I can't think of his name.

Anyway this kid can use some muscle whether he's 141, 170 or 180 but the stuff in the combine listing was clearly a typo. Oh, and why in God's name is some kid from Cleveland going to San Antonio for anything other than a vacation with the folks or something? Things are WAAAAYYYY out of hand.

Glenville's coach does a tour bus with a lot of his own kids as well as others, and takes them around to many of the college camps in the summer, including BG's. I can't believe they made it to San Antonio, but you never know!

You know it would really suck if this kid turns out to be another Big Ben.

so i was wrong but he did make the best move for him and it doesn't hurt OSU...it only hurts BG so I don't know what you are all so happy about...

He was never going to see the field at OSU..He was going to be nothing more than an emergency QB. OSU was going to take another QB next year to replace Pryor. Now they will just take two. They have players they can turn into an emergency QB should Pryor get hurt. Zach Domicone from Beavercreek or Oriahn Johnson from Florida could fill that spot. OSU only needed a QB because they only have two listed on the roster. They will jsut move on the of two mentioned above to QB for a year.

And if he turns into another Big Ben then BG is screwed for four more years.

I fail to see how this benefits any of you besides the redhawk man.

Enjoy the bottom of the MAC falcons.

Care to explain how a guy who was never going to come here going somewhere else hurts us? Other than maybe 1 or 2 games three or four years from now.
