Talk about the Buckeyes the Wolverines the Hilltoppers the Ducks the Beavers the Chanticleers... or anyone else who isn't BG or an opponent in this forum.

Having said that, Michigan is not good enough to win out. Their defense is shaky and their offense disappears for quarters at a time. Hart is a monster but the O-line has struggled in pass protection and Henne has not played well consistently.
OSU or PSU will win the B11 this year. They are the 2 best teams. For the first time in a long time, the Mich/OSU game may not determine the conf champion.
For the record, I think BG could hang with any team in the B11 this year. There is no "juggernaut" within the conference this year. Great for fans of good football games, bad for the B11's nat'l respect level.
I can still root for Michigan, can't I??
The OSU Michigan game might not directly decide the conference title, but I have a feeling it will indirectly decide it, or at least play a significant role.
I agree with you on the BG comparison. Hell, we more or less hung with Wisky, a Big Ten contender, for a large part of the game until their size and depth wore us down (yes there was other factors, I know). If the two teams were to play now, I foresee a rather different game. One where we lose by at most a Touchdown, win by 10 or more, or somewhere inbetween.
I sure as hell will be =).
The OSU/Mich game will probably be about the reverse of last year. Michigan will be out of it and OSU will be fighting for the title.
I dunno -- at this point just about anything could happen.
Yep another week and there is still no clearcut team that is better than the others. There is not much that seperates Wisconsin, Minnesota, PSU, OSU, MSU, and maybe even Northwestern.
That kick MSU had before half might have been the worst play I have ever seen.

And considering they've beaten two of the three teams on that list and lost by a combined 6 points to two others, you can probably toss UM in that list. (Definitely if they play the way they show they can, and you can toss them out the window for the performances in the three losses and even against NIU at times.)
I think in the end, all that parity might boil down to a plus for the MAC. You've got seven teams that are a few breaks here or there from being in first place at this point in the season. If it keeps up for another month, the MCB participant could be a pretty solid test.

Yeah Michigan too. I knew I forgot somebody. The Big Ten is extra tough this year. I think Illinois might be the only "gimmie" on the schedule. I try to stay away from predicting Big Ten games.
