Thanks for supporting the belief that southern conferences are a farce. They lost the war and their football is just a production of the drive by sports media bias filling the heads of brainless nobodies outside of the midwest (because midwesterners from the Big Ten, and Big 12 conference regions are the only ones with brains minus a few Toledo meatheads) with nonsense illusions of superiority.

It is no wonder they are such unhappy people down there.

I have largely ignored this thread until now. To argue that the Big Ten is a superior conference to the SEC is downright laughable. But to call Southerners "brainless nobodies outside of the midwest" ... you are truly delusional. Please, please, please find a board more suitable to your tastes, whatever poor tastes those might be.

I have largely ignored this thread until now. To argue that the Big Ten is a superior conference to the SEC is downright laughable. Please, please, please find a board more suitable to your tastes, whatever poor tastes those might be.

Seriously Tek - no way in the world the Big 10 is better overall than the SEC. Sure, you can find a few stats to say the Big 10 is better, but I bet I can find a whole hell of a lot more stats and reasons to back the SEC. Hell, you could say that the MAC is on par with the Big 10 because the record between the conferences is 1-1 in the Motor City Bowl, but anybody could find a book full of reasons to say the Big 10 is far superior to the MAC.

And Southern people are not brainless nobodies ... I'm guessing you don't have a lot of time to your credit vacationing or living in the south as I do, and that is just silly to say that. After all my time spent in Texas, Alabama, and Florida, I can say otherwise for years on end. On the whole, much nicer, more welcoming and friendly folks in the south than anywhere in the country I've found.
