I happen to think someone who keeps $3,000 in their home instead of the bank is a numbskull, not those who make the observation that this situation is odd. This weekend I heard about this finally on the radio. The money has come from hawks parents. Apparently he never spends money saves everything he gets. whoever the person was..i think it was a friend of his said how cheap he is. With the extreme lack of attention this has gotten from ESPN and the NCAA (absolutely no attention) I'd have to believe it. I think you numbskulls jump to conclusions.

Depends. How are the boosters doing in C-bus? With some of those guys moving on that should free up some money with the salary cap, right?USCBuckeye wrote:Seeing that picture makes me wonder when the next time the NCAA will see a linebacking corps with the ability of those three.Seeing that picture of Hawk, Carpenter, and Schlegel makes me wonder when the last time any of them saw the inside of a barber shop.

I said the Clarret situation is a joke if you use that against OSU..That was all clarett.. OSU was cleared and proven to have nothing to do with the whole situation.HoustonFalcon wrote:I don't know wether this situation is fishy or not. But Tekini, I believe you really should quit drinking out of the scarlet Kool-Aid and admit to yourself the exchange of money is still happening. It goes on at every major university where football is king. Just because Troy Smith got caught, that doesn't mean that there still aren't more boosters out there handing out money. I'm not saying that it's $3000 at a time. That would be pretty outrageous any time. If it is happening on Texas's campus, it is happening in Columbus too. I know how the recruiting wars really go in both football and basketball, and how the athletes are treated after they get there.
I'm not sure how you can tell us that if we bring up the whole Clarett situation, that we are a joke. The police nor the NCAA did not clear him of all charges. If my memory serves me correctly, didn't he get caught lying about the stuff that was stolen? The NCAA did nothing because he had already declared HIMSELF ineligible by trying to sue the NFL for the draft. And then the NCAA declared him ineligible for everything that he did. Again, it very well could be legitimate money that was stolen, and I am not casting judgement on the kid or his situation. I am only saying that this is still happening, I can guarantee it, and to not believe that it is happening at OSU is pretty nieve.
"we"?? I didn't know you still had some BG fan in you.tekekini wrote:stop being depressed that we didnt get a bowl.

I am not the biased one like all of you. Your obvious hate, and hypocricy is pushing more and more to never comming back for a BG game. You are rediculous . you tell people not to talk about OSU but you people bring it up more than any OSU fan on here.TG1996 wrote:"we"?? P.S.
Ron Lewis looks good in a OSU uni.
That will get ya going again.
Awwww! How cute, teke's got a crush everyone!tekekini wrote:P.S.

Check out our new BGSU hockey site: http://www.bgsuhockey.com
I have watched 3 or 4 OSU games on television and actually attended one in person already this year. I am still a little bitter that Ron bolted, but he is an exciting player to watch, so I watch him. Plus, a small part of me really does want him to succeed. He doesn't start, but he is generally among the 5 guys that finish the game. That is much more important to me. At the game I went to, he lit it up in warmups. Made everything he looked at. Unfortunately, he hasn't exactly lit it up in the games that I have watched. He is shooting 35% on 3's against vastly inferior competition (save St. Joes and Iowa State) thus far this season. That will drop even lower once the Big 10 hits and he faces better athletes/defenders. He is averaging nearly 13/game mainly because he is still incredible at getting to the basket and drawing fouls in the second half. Then he makes his FT's. He's a solid basketball player. No shot at the NBA IMO, but a solid college player.tekekini wrote:Ron Lewis looks good in a OSU uni.
My biggest problem with Ron Lewis on the court is his attitude. He is the same way he was when he was at BG. When he gets fouled hard, he comes up looking to fight and generally does some sort of arm raising or short shove. At some point this season, I think someone will get to him enough to draw a technical or a punch. I hope he can keep his cool because I really do want the kid to succeed and not look stupid on national TV.
This should have gone into another topic, but Ron Lewis was mentioned and I felt like beating another dead horse with current year observations. Sorry!!!
And I'm sure your presence will be missed.tekekini wrote:Your obvious hate, and hypocricy is pushing more and more to never comming back for a BG game.
You don't get a FRACTION of the rise out of me that you apparently think you do. Unless shaking my head and thinking "what a douchebag" is the rise you're looking for.
Then you're pretty much right.

Tekekini is just "another reason why a fan like myself who used to root for the Buckeyes as a secondary team, can NO LONGER STAND THEM, and actually root against them.
I am a Buckeye fan once a year (against Michigan) or if they ever play Toledo, and that is it. As I have often said, I hope the every team in the Big Ten (they can't even count) goes 5-7 every year!!!!! What a glorious thing!!!

I think factman really likes OSU. Went to BG, can not make any friends, so he is trying to fit in here.
