I always like to see Duke lose. I think FSU almost beat them when they played earlier this year too.

I've been a Duke fan since i was around 9. I didn't get a chance to watch the game because of the men's game tonight. I was talking with my dad and me and him came to an agreement that before the ACC tournament Duke would lose another game.

yea, FSU lost by 1 to Duke earlier this year, I believe it was 97-96, with a questionable call in the final 15 seconds sending Sheldon Williams to the line....Also, FSU had a player get a technical for nothing...he had a hard foul on Williams, which they gave him an intentional for (understandable), Williams gets up and gets in his face and they call a double T, that was Johnson's fifth foul...I'm a Duke fan (behind UVA of course) but I hate watching Duke win games like that...I don't believe there is a conspiracy like lots do, but there are some calls that piss me off...And there's not much I hate more than Dick Vitale and Mike Patrick calling a Duke game.

Yeah when Dukie V is doing a Duke game I have to mute it. I also don't think there is conspiracy or anything like that but Duke always seems to get to the foul line a good deal. The first NCAA tournament game where they do not, they will lose.

Some calls that I have seen have made me very upset. But, I haven't seen one game where the refs have made correct calls..

Tha's another thing I hate...people think if the officiating is fair, then Duke won't win. I mean, They say Duke only wins beacuse they get the calls...it must have nothing to do with having a Hall of fame coach, two consensus and unanimous all americans, and a ton of McDonald's AA's...I mean, even if the refs don't help Duke, they would still win most of their games.

I'm not sure if you are directing that at me but that wasn't really what I was saying. Sure Duke is a great team but their reliance on three point shot and the fould line seems to be their doom in recent years. They will breeze through there first two games in the NCAA's I bet but after that there chances are not better then anyone elses IMO. .

it wasn't specifically towards you, it just reminded me of another topic I forgot to cover in my original post...the one thing I hate about the ACC is that every message board seems to have this mindset, and every single board in the ACC talks about Duke constantly.
