Thought I would share a very good article about how UK Baseball has been able to have a 39-11 season and a #8 ranking after being un-competitive for some many years. 3rd Year coach John Cohen and his attitude (also his hitting coaching) are clearly responsible. From his first year record of 24-30, last years 29-27 (7-22 in SEC to this years phenomenal record. 18-8 in the SEC, securing a lock for at least a 1st place tie.
How he do it,
1-Weeded out non-team players
2-Wear your cap with bill forward. (philosphy that the bill points to wear you want to go, forward not backward)
3-Ban on wearing clothing with other school names.
