Or as I like to call it "60,000 people and only on full set of teeth game"

I thought Clash in Cleveland was lame, but this one takes the cake.

"Clash in Cleveland" is lame, but at least it gets the job done, I guess.
"Battle of I-75" is REALLY lame.
But "Coal Boal" is pretty cool.
It's West Virginia. What else are they gonna say?
"Meth Bowl" doesn't have that same je ne sais quoi.
Seriously: "Iron Bowl," "Coal Bowl" -- I like 'em.
Perhaps we should put some thought into what our Toledo series ought to be named. Because, seriously, "Battle of I-75" is pedestrian beyond belief.
(After all, couldn't we have said the same thing about our game a couple of years ago with South Florida?)
I'd prefer "Black Swamp Brawl" but I think I'm the only one who has ever said that.
On a side note: Isn't Don Nehlen a big pitchman for the Friends of Coal? I thought I heard that somewhere?

Given the content of your other Marshall related post, perhaps Lipton or Bigelow can come aboard as a game sponsor.

I'd like to think our game trancends Northwest Ohio. So that's worse, actually.
I like "Black Swamp" because it offers a sense of place and it ties both schools together (I guess -- I mean I think Toledo was pretty swampy, but I don't know if it was technically in the Black Swamp).
Maybe there would be a way to play off the Michigan-Ohio war, which, as everyone knows, Ohio lost, cause we had to take Toledo.
The "Maumee River Bowl?" Maybe the winner of the game could plant a big flag on an island in the river, visible from the I-75 bridge.

It's difficult because BG and Toledo are so vastly different from one another (cue ameteurish slap from the UT Fashion Police - "*gasp*, orange is an awful color, boyzzzzzz").
We could make a play on glass. Toledo is the Glass City and BG, at one time, was called Crystal City. BG also had glass making back in the late 1800 because of the neighboring oil drilling.
Pane Bowl?

How about:
The Battle for the Peacepipe
The logo would have a long-haired hippy smoking pot from a pipe.
Seriously though, make it real short and simple:
The Brawl
