Not to anger anyone but how about a UT-Kansas thread

Toledo just hit a big 4th and 15 touchdown pass with under a minute left, then hit the two point conversion to take a 17-14 lead. Apparently, Kansas' d-backs have never heard that on 4th and longs, you are suppossed to keep the reciever in front of you!

I wish there was a forum in which we could discuss schools other than BG. . . .

It's been a long week, give me a break!

After all, my brain is jello after attempting to teach high school students all week!

You understand that was the end of the first half, not the game, right?

Okay, I'm tired, but I'm not drunk or anything. I can read and yes I did realize that. Even if it was the opening drive of the game, the point I was making was that the Jayhawk d-backs messed up and Toledo took advantage.

So I might be a little drunk after drinking a bottle of shiraz and finalizing moving apartments.
But I am liking what I am seeing from Toledo. They are having trouble stopping the run and their offense gets derailed when you apply pressure. I am thinking we run it down their throats and blitz our big ends and Dozier to rattle Cockring.

I'm just thinking that it would be great for the MAC to beat another out of conference opponent and make it that much sweeter when we go to Toledo and beat the snot out of the Suck-its

ehhh I am all for ooc MAC wins, but I have some lose ties to KU making it easier for me to hate on Toledo, because they are Toledo and if the 'hawks win the bancroft high bunch will be 0-3.
Sing with me...

Is it just me or does it appear that a ton of Major Conference teams use the same type of offense that BGSU uses? West Virginia...as an example, uses the spread punt formation just like us! The difference is that they have a punter that can PUNT! Kansas uses the RB off tackle shotgun type play that we use too! Urban has left his mark!

For those not able to watch the UT-Kansas game, Toledo is up 31-23 with 4:30 left in the fourth after an interception returned for a touchdown. For as much as I've seen in this game, we may have a good chance of beating Toledo this year. But then again, I may be eating those words later in the season. Oh well, it's always good to see a MAC team do well against an OOC team like Kansas, even if it is Toledo. 8)

How bad are these two teams?

There's not been a discussion about comparing the two coaches -- and you sure know what I'm talking about! I thought Toledo Tom had gained a ton of weight, but nope -- it was the other guy.

just horrible...Kansas just had to get points in the 1st OT, then they fumble on the first play.
