Whattaday.

2 questions: Where do you put Rutgers?

And is a BCS championship rematch looking a little more possible after today? Too bad florida won.

I do not want to see a rematch. Going along with that I am happy to see Texas lost so there is no chance of OSU playing them twice.

Rutgers has zero losses, until they have a loss they should be ahead of everyone with a lost. That's my opinion and I'm sticking to it. However, if they do go undefeated I am sure they will get screwed.

Outside of Rutgers I really like Arkansas, they are quietly kicking some ass.

I hate polls. Louisville was 4th last week. Rutgers beats 'em up, and now has an almost identical profile, and they only move to 8th. How can you justify putting Rutgers 8th if you put Louisville 4th last week? And how can you keep Florida above them when they are barely beating mediocre teams every week? Rutgers didn't even jump in front of West Virginia! So they're behind a team with an identical profile but ONE MORE LOSS. Stupis stupid stupid.

On top of that, Michigan magically gets a first place vote? What did Michigan do to convince somebody that OSU didn't this week? This process is so flawed it's not even funny. These polls should have nothing to do with bowl placement if they're going to be this ridiculous.

What is becoming interesting is that the computers are moving Rutgers into the top 3-5.

Computers don't have the bias, and I think that in the next few weeks, Rutgers will pass everyone but one SEC team (Fla or Arkansas), and USC or Notre Dame and if they can beat WVU in 2 weeks, they will at elast be top 5.

I can't believe that a BCS conference team can go undefeated and not crack the top 4.

Rutgers was ahead of Texas LAST week... They were 9th last week in the computer average. In the Sagarin ELO_CHESS ratings used by the BCS, they are SECOND behind Michigan. Their computer score is going to put them higher than several of those one-loss teams.

Rutgers is also second in the Peter Wolfe rankings this week.

Expect them 5-6th in the BCS rankings, IMHO

And if they are able to beat WVU the computers will love them. If they are able to run the table they deserve the national title appearance over any team with the loss.

I always hear "yeah but their Rutgers." So what, why should they be punished for being a bad team the past twenty years. The past SHOULD have no bearing on their present image and ranking.

Rutgers should be third right now. If I'm a pollster, I have absolutely no defense for not ranking them third.

Rutgers is sixth behind USC, Florida, and Notre Dame thanks to being second in the computers. Michigan almost catches OSU for the 1 spot.

If you're a pollster, so you drop Michigan/OSU behind Florida, USC, and/or Rutgers when they lose Saturday?

I would put the winner at 1, rutgers at 2, and the loser at 3, unless it's a blowout.

I hate Joe Buck.

And I'm still too lazy to look up the Rutgers-WVU game.

If Rutgers runs the table, they ought to be in the title game, which assumes Ohio doesn't lose to Michigan.

But so much red in any single stadium, hurts my eyes I tell you.
