Ax day in NCAA football

Post by TG1996 »

Dirk Koetter (sp?) and Chuck Amato (sunglasses, manboobs and all) are the latest casualties today...

Presumably some team needing an OC. I think the "next up-and-coming head coach" bandwagon took off a while ago.

I think this may pave the way for Bill Cowher to NC St. Now that UNC got Butch to come in, Cowher is a logical fit. Wife and kid are currently living in Raleigh. He just built a $2 million home in N Raleigh. NC St could probably pay him good money.

Don't tell that to Browns fans. They think Cowher is going to take a year off and then come coach Cleveland.

I'm pretty sure he's done in Pittsburgh after this year. He got his ring, and I think if he wanted to stay, he'd have an extension by now. I'm not sure if he wants to coach anymore, but if he does, the NC State rumblings have been intensifying for months in Pittsburgh and Carolina.

Only the delusional Browns fans think that...I wish they were right, it'd be sweet to have a proven, quality coach in Cleveland, but it's not gonna happen.
