Ax day in NCAA football
Dirk Koetter (sp?) and Chuck Amato (sunglasses, manboobs and all) are the latest casualties today...

Don't tell that to Browns fans. They think Cowher is going to take a year off and then come coach Cleveland.dduncan wrote:I think this may pave the way for Bill Cowher to NC St. Now that UNC got Butch to come in, Cowher is a logical fit. Wife and kid are currently living in Raleigh. He just built a $2 million home in N Raleigh. NC St could probably pay him good money.
I'm pretty sure he's done in Pittsburgh after this year. He got his ring, and I think if he wanted to stay, he'd have an extension by now. I'm not sure if he wants to coach anymore, but if he does, the NC State rumblings have been intensifying for months in Pittsburgh and Carolina.
