Please tell me I did not hear that their QB is a frosh, WHO DID NOT EVEN PLAY QUARTERBACK IN HIGH SCHOOL

He said he was successful because of the coaching and the system.
I was waiting for someone to tell him that he was too young and out of gas to win.............

Congrats to the Chips!

Sounds eerily familiar to the Ben Roethlesberger story.

I also noticed that he had a big play WR that was a Freshman.

I recall seeing the CMU RB get tackled on a nice play by a LB from OU, who was a FRESHMAN.

Hmmm...how interesting. Major roles being played by Freshmen in the MAC championship game? You don't say. Next year should be fun to hear all the new excuses when those freshmen are all sophomores with a year of playing time under their belts.

We'll have to start an "excuse of the week" poll each week next year. Lord knows we'll probably be losing a lot of games.

I'm calling it right now -- if GB is still here next year, he'll make the excuse at least once that Ellis left the program and left us without a kicker. I'll take B12 for that one.

He started out his high school career at receiver. He only played his senior year of high school at QB.
