This is disappointing. Not because Nick Saban is going back to college, because I think it's where he belongs. I'm disappointed because he lied.

I'm very impressed with how Huizenga has handled everything. I can't say that I would be as calm and supporting as he was during that press conference.

Wasn't Huizenga also the guy that owned the Miami baseball team that he then gutted totally after winning the world series? Karma sucks. If there is such a thing.

Dumb southerners finally cracked. They'll never make that money back, even if they win back-to-back-to-back titles. Of course, the people pushing the move, like most Tide fans, don't care about the money, or the school. And they'll also have a long hard time winning the titles they hope for.

This is quite the flaming article. An interesting read, for sure. What this guy seems so personally offended by I am not sure, but wow. He sure doesn't mince words.

LeBatard is a Miami native who writes for the Herald. As a columnist, it's his job to be personally attached to Miami teams.

Incredible. This makes Tressel and Meyer's contracts look like MAC contracts.

That clarifies things greatly. I figured there HAD to be some connection.

What goes around comes around...Huizenga convinced Saban to piss on his new contract and LSU, and Saban left on Xmas day, leaving LSU in a bind to find a new coach so late in the year (like Urban). Huizenga is not a sympathetic figure at all in this siuation.
