Last year, an incredibly downtrodden Rice hired Tulsa defensive coordinator Todd Graham to run their football program.

Taking over a 1-win team, he went to a bowl and signed a contract extension a few days ago.

Today, he'll supposedly go back to Tulsa as head coach after their coach left for Louisville.

For it to really be Meyer-worthy, he'd have to put down Rice every opportunity he gets for the next several years.

and he would need to insist the day before leaving town to sign the contract that he had no intentions to leave
