This isn't football related, but I believe this forum had all the nonsense about Ohio State being the mothership.
Last night on Craig Ferguson, Patricia Heaton was talking about the movie she produced, "Amazing Grace." It's about the abolition of the British slave trade so she mentioned a number of 18th century British politicians. Then she said, "You're wondering how I know all this. I went to Ohio State, so it's amazing I know anything."

Patricia Heaton doesn't know very much. The slave trade is stronger than ever in GB. I bust my ass every day to pay for plush county council head offices, hair brained publicly funded schemes, and unaffordable public sector pensions that cost more than I will ever get from Social Security by way of pension myself, just so some underperforming UK county hall type can make sure he doesn't get stressed out, can work flexibly 40 hours a week, can screw his employer out of full pay for 6 months while he gets over some vague illness, and then spend the next 6 months getting weaned back into full time work.
Now, the civil service wants me to weigh and separate my garbage, put it into pink bags, and then pay by the kilo to have it taken away, after paying to get effin pink bags to take the garbage away with in the first place. in the first place. Its OK to have pink bags lying around, though. If I painted my house pink I would get busted within minutes for planning infringements, slapped with a headline grabbing fine, and probably ordered to pull the whole house down.
Next, "they" are planning on sending one of 4000 newly employed "house" surveyors to come and take pictures inside and outside my house so "they" can increase my property tax for having improved my house, and get this, because I have a great view. This new breed of civil servant is protected under the same laws the Secret Service hides its operatives behind to protect their day to day safety. I don't wonder why.
I wouldn't mind paying tax if I saw something for it. Instead, the only tangible things I see are Stalinist statues standing outside County Hall and bloated yet increasingly underperforming civil service employment, offset against increasing financial public sector losses at just about every govt. department going, and public sector car parks that are largely empty by 2pm on a Friday afternoon.
That's just for starters.
Slavery in GB is doing very well. Who is this dame, this Patricia Heaton? She's about as off beam as you can get about Slave Trade UK.
Come the revolution....

let me get this straight...
it's ok to trash OSU on this board ad naseum, but not to support them in any way.
I know there is the "other schools" forum, but I'm sure I have seen anti-OSU threads on this board. Are those ok?

Actually, we are trying to improve the great state of Ohio by converting them to an institution that doesn't have it's head so far up it's own ass that it could brush it's teeth with it's esophagus.
With as much crap as we all put up with away from this board from OSU fans, it's only fair we're able to insult them for such things as beating up a styrofoam statue.
