Krebs Announces Alford on ESPN Radio

Just heard a familiar voice introduce the new Lobos coach during the Dan Patrick show. Then Alford came on for an interview to answer the question "Why leave the Big Ten for New Mexico?"
Parity was the main focus of his answer for going "down" conferences, and seemed to be implying that Iowa was too much of a football school and that he took a back seat commitment wise from the athletic department. (what a line of b.s.- Southern Illinois doesn't have half the "commitment" that your poor little Iowa club was getting. . .neither does Butler or even Northern Iowa which schooled your club this year Alford.)
He didn't mention who any of his assistants would be. . .
