Or maybe because it was during basketball season and players at every school, especially freshman, will take a light load during their sports season.

Or maybe classes aren't a high priority for guys looking to jump to the NBA? Please. Everyone and their brother knew Oden would go to the NBA after one year. He wasn't planning on staying long and his extremely light class schedule proved it. More power to the kid for entering the draft.

I'm pretty sure the BG student athletes are taking more than 2 classes per semester.

yea because at BG you are required to take 12 hours to be a full time student..(atleast I think it is 12)?

Most of them are probably not taking any more than that.

once conley's dad declared as an agent, you knew they would all declare.

conley and cook are the best "not choosing" an agent. OSU hatred aside, that is a dirty little ploy that is allowed by the NCAA loophole of being able to come back to college if you don't sign with an agent. for all intents and purposes, all three signed with an agent the day conley's dad declared himself an agent.

it's totally within the rules and i would do the same thing if i were a player like conley and cook who may not necessarily be lottery picks. but this is just another thing wrong with the NBA draft to go along with Tank-A-Palooza 2007.
