Don't know what you're talking about DD. It is so easy to tell that the Dacula High school is a Falcon

Come on, man. There are, like, four lines that are different.
For the record, my high school uses basically the same rocket logo as UT. That has caused numerous issues for me in the past.

I went to Elgin High School in Marion County.
Our colors: Red and Gray
Our fight song: Across the Field
Our Alma Mater: Exactly the same as that school in Columbus.
Our football jerseys:

I wish I had more time and/or energy to research the origins of the "Falcon" nickname more indepth. As relatively common as it is, it's not overwhelmingly popular (See: "Tigers", "Bulldogs", "Wildcats", etc.). Knowing that BG
adopted the nickname in 1927, and that Air Force came well after that, and the Atlanta Falcons after that yet, it is very possible that BGSU is
THE "Home of the Falcons".
Would be a pretty cool distinction to have and pimp out when possible.

It would be interesting to research who all has been the Falcons in history.
With that said, since football is right around the corner, it's time to bring back my favorite avatar:

Some more delicious fun. I think we came out well in the "mascot game." Would you rather be this:

It's an interesting question.
I was going to say that the Detroit Red Wings played as the "Falcons" first, and that's true, but it looks like BGSU predated that by a couple of years. Here is the blow-by-blow:
1925-26: The Victoria Cougars of the Western Canada Hockey League win the Stanley Cup, but the league folds. Meanwhile, Detroit wins an expansion team in the National Hockey League. The new Detroit franchise buys the rights to Victoria's players.
1926-27: The Detroit Cougars begin play in the building now known as Windsor Arena.
1927-28: The Detroit Cougars move across the river to Olympia Arena.
1930-31: The Cougars are renamed the "Falcons."
1932-33: James Norris buys the Detroit Falcons and renames the team the "Red Wings." Norris personally designs the winged-wheel logo.

Shouldn't a school named Dacula have a vampire bat logo?
