They released a "heritage line" which means that you can now create fully licensed Ohio Bobcat items featuring all the old logos. Appearantly the current "attack cat" logo was ushered in by a new AD and many alums were ticked with the removal of their beloved paw. Sound familiar?

Interesting, but damn that could create a bit of a headache for the guy trying to create a consistant brand awarness. I like it and think it would be cool if we could do something similar with some of our old logos.

What is interesting is that folks are more attached the "tradition" of the most recent disposed logo (PAW). Even though the other 4 had "traditions" of almost 20 years each.

If your allow something like the jersey we saw on the footbal forum to be created http://www.ay-ziggy-zoomba.com/phpBB2/v ... hp?t=16858
then the old logo(s) should not be a problem.

Honestly, the new logos will take over at Ohio and BG but you will always have a few holdovers. Never hurts to see what the consumer thinks. I'm sure new will win.
