Ball State loses by 1. I saw the missed FG at the end from 55, but they supposedly dropped a sure TD pass on the final drive per Rece Davis. Good effort from the Cardinals nonetheless.

Hard to imagine the Huskers staying in the Top-25 with a score that close.

Another rough day for the MAC - Miami got whacked by Colorado (42-0) and Central Michigan got crushed at home by North Dakota State (44-14). NDSU is #4 in I-AA, so they have a solid team, but a 30 point beatdown on the road against our defending conference champ? That's rough.

Ooooh not good, not good at all.:? I guess its either feast or famine for the Mac this year in non-conference.

UT scored 2 TDs in the final 5 minutes to beat Iowa State 36-35. Is anybody able to figure Iowa State out? 2 losses to MAC schools and one to a I-AA team and one win over a Big 10 team picked to finish in the top half. Really bad team that got one win on pure emotion?

Theyy were inconsistent even within the game-Speedy RB who got ten every time he ran outside and lost 3-5 every time he ran inside. QB made some great plays on third but threw a bad int and missed receivers by throwing OB several times. Turnovers killed them. they will win a game or two in Big Whatever but not many.

Let's not forget arguably the top team in the MAC, Ohio, blowing a 20-6 halftime lead to Wyoming at home. Wyoming turned the ball over SEVEN times and Ohio still lost. Wyoming is probably only the fourth or fifth best team in the MWC by the way. Another banner day for the MAC as usual. Man, our conference is garbage.

Ball State deserves kudos for sure...we were watching the scoreboard at the game and man, so close.

I think BSU will win the West.

I agree. Nate Davis is the real deal, and the rest of the West is HORRIBLE.

The receiver had about three yards on the DB and just dropped the ball!
The snap on the field goal was high and it appeared to bother the rhythm of the kicker.
